TRAINING PROGRAMS

Rebel Strength & Conditioning

DENSITY CYCLE  - Ages:  13-17

SEPT 14 - OCT 31

7 WEEKS 

2 x per week 

3 x per week 

4 x per week 

3:15 - 4:30 Monday to Friday

 

Our first athletic training phase this season is 'Density'.  This is a 7 week training program that focuses on the following: 

1. Unilateral Mobility - single limb range of motion 

2. Trunk Stability and Strength - in short, we're going to put meat on the ribs 

3. Useful strength - referring to the awkward and/or offset loading in primal movement patterns of squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling and carrying using sandbags, heavy medballs, dumbbells, kettlebells and barbells

4. Interval based Aerobic Capacity - to develop endurance without losing strength or power
